Hello
As you are aware,
the Copenhagen Conference is due to finish on the 18th December, where
hopefully world leaders and delegates will be in a position to announce
a new climate change agreement. Debates have been and will continue to
take place on Google Wave, where some lively discussions are developing
and constantly updating. 
However, the fun does not stop
on the 18th December. We will continue the debates in January,
focusing on the consequences to individual countries and regions. This
is an opportunity for panel members to highlight to the rest of the
world how the success or failure of the Copenhagen conference will
directly affect them. As such, it is an important phase of the debates
and provides an opportunity to represent your country on a world stage.
This is where people in Bangladesh will find out how Copenhagen has
affected Brazil, for example. We at Debatewise feel that the next phase
is of great importance and we expect some great debates to emerge.
We
appreciate all of your hard work so far and you have contributed to
making the GYP a success. If however you do not wish to continue or you
cannot take part for whatever reason, please let me know as we will
then delegate this exciting role to other country coordinators.
In
the meantime, please continue to participate as much as you can in the
debates that are happening right now, and keep you panelists motivated.
We will of course inform you in more detail after the 18th December of
the process for the next phase.
