[ddots-l] where is the music?

perhaps i am not clere.  i am speeking about the sonar sampel content which is 
made up of songs that sonar users have recorded.  with these songs you allso 
have the templet showing you what track each instrument is on.  you can mix, 
add to or remove any part of the recording you want.  think of it as you are 
messing around with some ones  allready recorded project.  a friend of mine 
uses jaws, cake talking and sonar 4 the same as me.  why is it he can hear and 
tinker with  this sampel content and i cant.  i have wint to the midi devices 
and every thing seems to bee in line there my motu 828 is solected as the input 
and output sorse.  but no sound!  i have changed this to the computers inturnal 
sound card and still no sound.  the longer i deal with midi the more i get 
frustrated.  guess this is why i have all ways delt with audio.
