[ddots-l] Re: v-vocal hsc sets

Where is that advertisement that you speak of? Having created them I am going
to assume that you have used them. So what can I expect? What will work and be
specific please. What won't work and be specific please..
What has your experience been with them?
What exactly were you able to accomplish?
It's great to have keystrokes, but if you have no reference point or any kind
of feedback, what use are they?

Maybe I'm expecting to much after all.

The sets work as advertised and unless Cakewalk implement V-Vocal in a
different way then, there really isn't much else we can do to improve these
sets. The only feedback you get from them is from the audio after you have
altered it. Having said that, if you follow the information in the V-Vocal
readme then, you should hear some improvement. If you press HSC mods double H
when the sets are loaded then, you will be able to read the custom help for
them or the readme that Jason Dacent and I put together. Talking of which,
that document is about to get a slight revision. Will post a note when I have
put up the revised document.

So what's the point of the sets if there is no feedback. Perhaps I am
missing something here.

Herman. You won't get any kind of feedback wwith those sets. With
regard to vocal correction, I and others have been able to achieve some basic
tuning.

When using some of the HSC shortcut keys for this plug-in like
control+Alt+S am I suppose to get any kind of feedback? Because I am getting
none. I am using CT if it makes a difference and the HSC sets are active in the
plug in.

Having asked this question, has anyone been somewhat successful using
this plug in at all? If you have, what degree of success have you had?
