Phil, All I get is a great big Windows dunk.
So
1. selected my time range
2. created v-vocal clip with shift+V
3. now within V-Vocal control+A to select entire clip
4. hit the number one on the top row of the PC keyboard to turn on pitch
correction.
Note: You have the number backwards according to the help.
Pitch edit mode is 1
Time edit is 2
Formant edit mode is 3
Dynamic edits is 4
5. Control+alt+s to turn on scale function
6. left mouse click
7. for my example, major is fine, minor has to many possibilities
8. control+1 for a c major scale. Doesn't everything go with c anyway?
9. Alt+shift+P for some V-Vocal pitch correction magic and... nothing. windows
Dunk noise.
10. closed the V-vocal window and pressed spacebar to play.
Still nothing. It made no difference whatsoever.
So what am I missing. The song is not in c major so this should have made a
very drastic and ugly sounding change.

Subject: [ddots-l] Re: v-vocal hsc sets
I have performmed basic pitch correction with the sets.
And, here's how. From the V-Vocal readme that is packaged with these sets:
a.. 1: Select the track that you want to process with V-Vocal.
a.. 2: Select the time range you want to process with f9 and f10.
a.. 3: Create a V-Vocal clip by pressing shift v.
a.. 4: You have to select the clip to process again from within the V-Vocal
window. Do this by pressing control a.
a.. 5: Make sure the pitch correct mode is selected bye pressing 1 on the top
row of the pc keyboard.
Note: there are 4 tabs in v-vocal. They are: pitch which, can be accessed
with the keystroke, number 1 dynamics, which, can be accessed with the
keystroke number 2, time which, is accessed with number 3, and formant which,
is accessed with number 4 on the top numbers row on the keyboard.
a.. 6: Turn the scale function on with control alt s. Note: this keystroke
selects the scale button but doesn't change its status. To switch scale on or
off, select the scale button first and then use left mouse click. Jaws will not
speak the button's status, but scale will always be off by default when you
create a new V vocal clip.
a.. 7: Set the scale type to Major by pressing shift windows m, or minor by
pressing alt windows m. Major is selected when you first open the V-Vocal
window.
a.. 8: Select the rout note of the scale by doing the following: select notes
c through g with control 1 through control 8, Select notes g#through b with
shift 1 through shift 4.
a.. 9: Correct the pitch by pressing alt shift p.
a.. 10: Finally, close the V-Vocal window by pressing alt f4.
