Hi Raymond,
Yes I do use the sounds in the cakewalk tts-1, because I haven't any better.
I'm hoping to find a better gm compatible soft synth, but I haven't come across
one so far, except this tts-1 thing. I never use the helicopter or bubble
sounds. I think they're useless. I'd rather see these patch numbers filled with
useful instruments. If I want a helicopter or any other similar effect, I would
go for a sample library with sound effects. Hope that answers your question.
Regards,
Paul.

Subject: [ddots-l] synthesizers
Hi everyone. I got Sonar working because my stepdad called Gord and we got it
straight. I just wanted a few opinions on something. Does anyone like the
synthesizer that comes with Sonar 4? I'm starting to like it. I was also
wondering if anyone uses the helicopter, stream, bubbles etc. If someone thinks
I'm completely off balance, just let me know and I'll recheck things. Okay I
guess I didn't want help, I just wanted to find out what people use those
sounds for and if they use them at all.
