I am just singing with them its just voice and strings an intro to a CD I'm working on. So you think that in this case flat would be the way to go? When I listened to them they didn't sound bad to me but then I thought that there must be something I could do to give them a little shine. I usually boost around 6khz about 5 or 6db to get that sparkle if I want that up front 70's disco string section sound. If you are just doing pads, they probably will be ok flat. That being said, I don't use the dimension strings much since I have gpo 4 which is the bomb as they say.
