Perhaps someone who uses Cool edit can tell us.

Oh, is there a way to create .cel files from acidized .wav files?

Hi Aaron
.cel is used by Cool edit pro as far as I've learned. I would imagine that if you bring the .cel file into Cool edit, you should be able to convert into a wave file, then be able to import into Sonar.
.cel is an acidized mp3.

Hope this helps

Thanks for your answers and sorry for the delay in getting back to you. The loopology loops are in the .cel format.

Hi Aaron
My answers are written right below your questions.

First, does anyone have a good suggestion for a good directory/site for
soundfonts?
First place to start is www.hitsquad.com/smm
or try using google for locating more sites if this is not enough. Hitsquad has quite a bit though, both free and not so free...

Second, does anyone have any experience with the Sonic Implants acoustic
guitar soundfont? Would you recommend it?
If your going to just strum some chords and not get into and complex rhythmic things they are great. I haven't been able to get them to sound natural yet. I don't know enough about Midi to do that. It is certainly possible though, check out the demo mp3 that they have and you'll hear what I'm saying.

Third, does anyone know of a way to import the audition loopology loops
directly into sonar?
What format are the loops in loopology in?

Hope this helps
HF
