I have similar problem. Mine stops and play ok most of times, however it
really messes up when I try to play and stop using ctrl+` and shift+` in
effects dialog (especially bus effects). In track view effects, if I
refresh the effects dialog before using play and rewind hotkeys, it works
somewhat better, but in bus effects dialog, it doesn't work. If i Play
rewind by pressing shift+`, I have to wait like for a loooong time before it
stops. I think it's caketalking bug. Sometimes caketalking even freazes,
and I have to ask sited user to save my project and close sonar through
mouse, and then I open sonar again.
It seems caketalking is unstable especially while sonar plays or records
something in general. There is a delay for caketalking hotkeys while
playing and recording.
Sometimes caketalking (not sonar) entirely freazes if I press some hotkeys
while playing or recording in any views/pane. Even worse, it sometimes
freazes Jaws as well. Even if I have a sited person to save my project and
close, jaws doesn't work. I have to reboot. Hopefully it'd be fixed in next
caketalking.
