Hi gord.
Thanks very much for taking a listen.
Dance isn't really my bag either, but as an Ex DJ I like some of the more
melodic stuff.
The space Jump track is very much the type of thing I enjoy writing.
Here's the list of synths used...
spectrasonics Atmosphere
Spectrasonics Stylus RMX
Spectrasonics Trilogy
ReFX Vangard
Plus in track 3 I also used a couple of drum loops.
I really love the spectrasonics products and hopefully I'll be upgrading the
Atmosphere to Omnisphere soon.
cheers
Darren

Hello:
Hey:
I'm listening now. Keep in mind that this kind of techno stuff really isn't
my thing. I'm kind of more an old school r&b guy. But I do apreciate the
work you've done from a technological standpoint. When I was down in Costa
Rica a couple of years ago they played tons of this stuff all the time at
the hotels and bars, more than I'd heard here in the states. I really like
the third track the best because it is not trying to be an '80s rehash,
although you did a great job of it. THe Thomson twins would probably have
grabbed that up in a second. What synths are you using? Is it mostly
software or hardware?
Gord

Nice stuff. Did you make Flash movies out of these files so that they
couldn't be downloaded and ripped off? How did you do that? How hard is it
to write in Flash, if that's what you did?
K.

Hi folks.
Just uploaded a couple of new tracks...
www.darrenhartland.com/songs.html
I've reworked Kraftwork's the Model and done two separate remixes.
the first remix is pretty 80s electro.
The second is a bit more Euro pop.
Would be really interested in your feedback, both positive and negative if
you think I've messed it up.
I know the vocals aren't great because I'm not really a vocalist. I look
forward to hearing what you think of them.
make sure you have Flash enabled in your screen reader.
Cheers
Darren
