I'm going to have to learn how to do that. I'm really gearing up to get my
CD done now and I'm going to want to put up demos. Of course, you can
always do something obnoxious like putting bursts of white noise every 20
seconds or so, but this seems to be much more desirable.

Hi.
partly used flash so that folks couldn't jsut download the tracks yet, but
if someone was really determined they could find a way around it, I know I
can.
However, using Flash format, the tracks start to play almost immediately,
whereas if you give them a link to an mp3 file, they either have to download
it or wait until it has fully loaded into their browser.
I got the Flash files from Phil Muir's site, can't remember the address at
this minute because I believe it's changed.
Cheers

Nice stuff. Did you make Flash movies out of these files so that they
couldn't be downloaded and ripped off? How did you do that? How hard is it
to write in Flash, if that's what you did?
K.

Hi folks.
Just uploaded a couple of new tracks...
www.darrenhartland.com/songs.html
I've reworked Kraftwork's the Model and done two separate remixes.
the first remix is pretty 80s electro.
The second is a bit more Euro pop.
Would be really interested in your feedback, both positive and negative if
you think I've messed it up.
I know the vocals aren't great because I'm not really a vocalist. I look
forward to hearing what you think of them.
make sure you have Flash enabled in your screen reader.
Cheers
Darren
