Simply assign the outputs to your mains on your interface and you should be fine. -----Original Message----- From: ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Bryan Smart Sent: Tuesday, December 15, 2009 10:37 PM To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [ddots-l] Re: silent hardware output This is normal. You get that message often when you open a project that was created with a different audio interface than you're using at the moment. When going to a sample file of sonar's to play, I receive a message saying "The following tracks and busses are currently assigned to a silent hardware output. The items listed below will be silent in your project until their outputs are assigned to an appropriate hardware output. It then lists "master" and "metrinome" as being those items. It appears as though my Fast Track Ultra is selected in both the in and out in track view and the interfase is on and appears to be getting power. Please tell me what this message means if possible and any idea what I may have forgotten to do. I appreciate any help and very sorry to bother you guys but perhaps someone can have mercy and write me offlist. Sincerely, Dave PLEASE READ THIS FOOTER AT LEAST ONCE!
