Hi!
Hi!
I have been using Sibelius for A long time and have got some problems with
opening midi files. You can't know how Sibelius would open your midi files if
you prepared them with other programs. For Example, if it's A piano score, you
have to make shure that the piano part is written in A grand staff and have the
right staff name, the articulations, the dynamics, the pedal marks and so on.
But if it's A vocal score, you have to make shure that the lyrics are written
there. Anyway, as you probably know, the notes' durations should be clear and
accurate, without unnecessary ties.
I hope that it helps.
Best regards
Nili Seidel

Subject: [ddots-l] sibelius question
I have midi files that were created in other programs, I need to print them
out as scores. Can I import them directly into Sibelius and print them out or
is there something that I need to do ahead of time to prepare the files for
Sibelius for printing.
