[ddots-l] sibelious and notation

Okay, so I was reading the sonar tutorials on staff notation, and it's telling 
me that I need to play notes without sustain if I want to have accurate note 
durations for printing. My question is; if I were to print the music out 
through sibelious, would I still have that problem? I don't really feel like 
re-recording an entire song from scratch.
