[ddots-l] setting up a audio recording business as a totally blind person

Hi Listers, I wish to set up a cce production and give those artists used their rightful royalty/recognition. Here are a few questions I hope some of you audio wizards might be able to answer. Sorry if this is a bit off topic.

1. Is there a site or list of other blind small businesspersons?
2. If one started a recording company and wanted to sell a compilation of songs by other artists, how do you send the money due to the artists or even find out how actually wrote the song. I am thinking how a company like Timelife or other such cd companies follow all the rules by sending due royalties.

I do have recording software "adobe audition 1.5" and Roxio version Seven", and have made several recordings of some young people I know in my personally put together studio. I am getting close to retirement and thought this would be a great business venture.
