[ddots-l] recording gear and confusion please help!

hello all, i recently purchased cake walk producer 7 with the cake talking 
scripts. I also purchased an m audio midi controller. What I would like to know 
is can some one tell me what would be a good way to hook this all up including 
microphones with out a mixing bord. I don't know if i can hook this all up 
through a delta 10 10 or if i should get a fire wire audio interface box or  a 
u s b one or one of them u s b or firewire mixing bords? Do i hook up my midi 
controller up to these devices as well? Or can I hook it up to my conputer 
using the supplied u s b cable? Another thing i am trying to do is not have a 
lot of external effects processors. Can somebody please recommend some good 
vocal effects processors and also maybe a good harmony and auto tune processor? 
I am sorry to bother anyone i am kind of nervis because i am making the switch 
from hardware recording to hopefully all software based computer recording.
