be sure to arm the track and hit shift r to select sound on sound.
also hit double l to disable loop playback.

Hi,

I'm opening a file which I had no problems with so far. When I hit r for 
record, jaws says "record," but nothing happens. The record function doesn't 
start, and the song doesn't move from its starting position.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
