[ddots-l] previewing imported midi files

I'm trying to preview drum loop midi files for EZDrummer.

Here's what I'm doing in Sonar...

1.  Setting from and through times and press F7 to go to the from time.

2.  Going to file, Import, midi.

3.  Selecting an EZDrummer midi file.

I can import it without previewing with no problems and it plays fine.

However, when I try to preview by pressing play in the import dialog box, I'm 
hearing a piano sound playing the midi file, it's pretty freeky.

I've checked my sounds and audio device settings and my midi playback is set to 
my tyros 2, with no option to set it to anything else other than the default 
which is Microsoft something or other.

Any ideas?
