it is looking that way.  I had a friend save the settings for me but I don't 
know if it is doing me any good.  Like you was saying the mixer is just 
impossible.  I can't even bring up the save or load settings dialog boxes.  The 
answer to your question (
Do you have to unplug/replug in the Firebox in order to get it to work every 
time you restart your computer?) is not every time but it has happened more 
than a few times.  What has also worked for me is when the box is unresponsive, 
I'll bring up the mixer window and it will some times reload the settings.  
Well, if anybody comes up with some thing please let me know and I will do the 
same.

  The Firebox Control Panel is accessible with JAWS, you'll need to do some 
JAWS cursering,and root PC to JAWS on the options etc...

  The Mixer is 100% inaccessible, I too would be interested in scripts for it.
