I havn't ogt a clue, but sonar 4 does time stretching and probably pitch
changing much better, but as I don't know anything about the inner workings
of the processes involved, and Gordon probably does, then if he says so,
then it'll be true. HOwever, I've used three soundcards with sonar 2.2 and
3, and I actually would never touch the time stretch effect in sonar, unless
I was was doing it for comic effect. I tend to use time and pitch changing
for mixing tracks together, but a free winamp plugin does it in real time
much better anyway.
I assume thi email was for me, as it went straight in to my inbox, and it my
message was after yours, so I answered.
Anyway, as I've only just got sonar 3 to work with the scripts, I'll wait a
while longer before I get sonar four and related scripts, otherwise I would
have been using sonar 3 and caketalking for three weeks.
O dear that was a long email, but I typed quickly.
