Hello,

The IPod Shuffle is supposed to be accessible, although I don't have one yet. There is a book available from the National Braille Press called "the IPod Experience: Gaining Access to the Ipod Shuffle," by Anna Dressner. NBP's phone number is 800 548-7323.

Another friend suggested I check out the Sanza, which also allows one to play audiobooks, but I didn't get around to it yet.

        Good luck.

Hi all,
Sorry, if this is totally out of topic, but I'm sure that somebody on this list must know, if there is any mp3 player like the ipod available on the market, that is accessible for blind people. At the moment I've got about 30 gb of music on my pc and would like to take that with me and have acces to it anywhere I go. Is there any player around, which allows me to somehow get to know what's on the screen so I could jump to the different menus and find artists and titles? I know that the Ipod has just that kind of funcionality, but is totally useless to us, since we don't know where we are on the screen.
Thanks in advance
Regards
Thomas
