when you say select all i guess you are talking about the ctrl plus enter three times ,right? because alt plus enter three times will select all tracks from beginning to end of the project 
and you wouldn't want to do that.
i usually select first and then set the from and thru because sometimes sonar forgets the from and thru without any reason also i never count on sonar remembering the last selection of tracks after editing because frequently they get unselected i don't know why. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Stacy Bleeks" <sbleeks@xxxxxxxxxxxx>

First. I love the nudging keystrokes: Insert Control num 1,4,7 and 3,6,9!
Second: can anyone tell me if there is a better way to cut all the needless empty space at the end of tracks to clean up the project. as it is now, I set the from time where I want the project to end and then set the through time to as far right as the very end. Then I select all and then delete. It seems to work well but I am not sure if this is the best way.
