[ddots-l] Re: mp3 lock message and a question on sornar five

When Sonar is installed you get a trial mp3 encoder. You have to pay
for a full version through Cakewalk. Did you ever do this? If you did,
you should have an unlock key. Try installing it. The mp3 encoder
trial version entitles you to a fixed number of mp3 encodings. Once you
use them up, you'll need the key I mentioned from Cakewalk. I forget
how much that costs. $20 or so, seems right.

Subject: [ddots-l] mp3 lock message and a question on sornar five

                                                This evening when trying
to export a file created in Sornar Four, I
got the message, "mp3 encoder locked. You must visit the cakewalk site
and
purchise a new one or request help.." I think I got all the prompt
right.
The important part is the mp3 encoder locked. I didn't have this
problem
until this evening. The only thing I change in the computer was to add
a
new dll file in winamp called in__mp4 for playing a different type of
file. I deleted it just before leaving this evening and haven't yet
tried
with the file gone. But I find it hard to believe a file in another
program
will affect Sornar. Any help would be very very greatly appreciated.

Secondly: I just baught Sornar Four about a month ago. I heard that v
Sornar Five is now relased. Does my purchise get me any upgrades or
will
I have to buy a whole new copy?

Thanks in advance!!
