Is there a way to pan the channels so you get more a surround effect?

If you use the channel converter it'll copy the same exact sound to both
channels and yes it'll be stereo, but the sound will be the same, you'll have
to play around with the delay/echo effects to change the sound a bit and make
it sound stereoish if that's what you're looking for.

If i have a mono sample of something, can I change it to stereo in sound
forge? If so, how do I do that?
