[ddots-l] Re: midi files

Ok I figured it out, but now I have another issue. When I select the patch and
bank of the instruments, they don't stay when I hit play. They go to some kind
of default setting. How do I get the instruments (drums for example) to stay at
the sounds that I choose?

Thanks.

Hi Everybody:

I've downloaded some standard midi files from the net and am trying to open
them in sonar. I made sure that the extention to the file is .mid. It's not
allowing me to open it, and i'm getting the message "not a Cakewalk format."
Any suggestions?

Thanks.
