Can't help you much on the error, but I sure as hell can agree with you on this
business of stability with Mac Vs Windows - especially with the way things are
nowadays.
Have a good one.

Subject: [ddots-l] microsoft visual c++ Run time error at end of track bounce?
Hi all. Using Sonar 8.51, whenever I bounce tracks, when the dialogue box
goes away and I'm back in the track view, as soon as I arrow to a different
track, I get an unexpected run time error dialogue box, then sonar is shut
down. Any idea what might be causing this?
And as a side note, pro tools accessibility on the Mac can't come fast
enough. I am so sick of this crap. Why is it that when you don't have any
deadlines etc, windows behaves but as soon as you need to get work done in a
timely manor, it goes mental? My low end second hand mac from 12 years ago was
more stable than this top of the line custom built DAW, the Win OS being the
weak link in the chain I believe. Sighs. Okay, rant over.
Thanks,
Cameron.
