MessageJo, Kevin is right. You should take one of those sound Blaster sound cards out of your PC. Then get an M-audio sound card, such as one of the Delta series or, an M-box. Then, you can use the Sound Blaster that you have in your PC for Jaws speech and your high end audio card for working in applications such as Sonar and Sound Forge. The Sound Blaster just won't cut it for recording audio. I was wondering if any of you were familiar with Digidesign M box, or anything similar? Would I benefit from such a device. I have two basic SoundBlaster Soundcards in my PC already for midi and audio so would an m box be useful? Thanks for any info Jo Heydon joheydon@xxxxxxxxxx msn jo_heydon@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ----- Original Message ----- From: David Eagle To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, July 21, 2006 4:15 AM Subject: [ddots-l] Re: Question about psy-klone hi, it dpends how much you kmow all ready as to whether I would be of any help. I If you know how to make and play soundfonts then you know as much as me. If you don't, then I can help with that. DJX however is more clued up with the more complex stuff. _________________ David Eagle www.soundclick.com/davideagle ----- Original Message ----- From: Kevin L. Gord gave me a few pointers on SFZ, and I've read some of the stuff at RGC, but would love to learn more. It might be a better idea to use SFZ instead. That's the solution I found. I know a tiny bit about it, but DJX seems to be the expert. I haven't ever used it though so, can't really help you out with it.
