[ddots-l] looping midi tracks

Hi,
Sorry if this has come up before. I'm stuck trying to loop a few midi drum patterns I've created.
I've got 4 midi and their associated audio tracks, each one with a part of the drum pattern. Say, kick on tracks 1 and 2, snares on 3 and 4, high hats on 5 and 6 and some percussive sounds on tracks 7 and 8. IThis pattern is 4 measures long. I've tried to select the four measures either one track at a time and or the entire mix and then paste these directly afterwards on a new track but it isn't working.
