Well, if she wants different samples in different ranges of the keyboard she would have to do that, but if she just wants to play one wave file she can just use it.

Doesn't she also have to assign the samples to keys in notepad? Also, the notepad document needs to be in the same folder as the samples you're loading.

If you just want to load a wave file, just press f4 and select the first option in the menu and press enter, then tab to the load sample option and press enter. You just get a normal open file dialog where you can select the sample you want which ccan be a wav, sf2, sfz, or ogg file.
