[ddots-l] Re: loading plugins from sonar 3

One more thing. Having thought about this some more, you could leave the demo
version of VSampler installed. Then, get your VSampler serial number off the
Sonar 3 CD, and go to there website, in order to retreave a registration
number. You should be able to then run VSampler as DXi but, not a standalone
application.

Well, just do as I said in a previous E-mail but, open up Windows Explorer,
with the key conbination, Windows key, E. Then, arrow down to you get to your
CD drive. Now, press the right arrow key to expand the CD. Go down to the
Sonar folder and press the tab key to get from the treeview, into the listview.
 You will find the Setup.exe

file in that folder. Find it with the arrow keys and press the enter key,
when on the setup.exe

  file.

I want to load the V sampler. I finally got it working in Sonar 4 with the
help of DJX, But when I installed Sonar5 it stopped working. I went to the V
sampler website and down loaded the demo, but now my trial period is over.

I put in the sonar 3 disk, but nothing happens when I do that. There must
be something I'm missing like a keyboard command or something. I tried pressing
alt s alt x s by itself and x by itself. Still nothing happens. When I say that
nothing happens I mean that jaws doesn't give me any information. My tab key
doesn't work and my arrow keys don't work either. Can I get into it through
windows explorer and if so how do I open windows explorer? I've never had to
use windows explorer before so I don't know how to get into it. Thanks Phil for
your help.

Yup, we got it. Which plug-ins do you want to load up from Sonar 3? You
will need to install them from the Sonar 3 CD. Put the CD into your CD drive
then, find the Sonar folder on the disk. Then open the Sonar.exe file, by
pressing enter on it. Now, uncheck all of the items that you don't want to
install. Then, go into the options for the DXi or, audio plug-ins that you
want to install and hit the select nun button. Then, you can go down the
listbox, and only select the plug-ins that you wish to install.

I'm trying to load a plugin from sonar 3 in to sonar 5. I know it can
be done because I think I remember someone on this list giving someone else
instructions on how to do that. I know that when you put in the disk you hold
down the right shift key, but then I can't remember what comes next.
