Maybe, if you initiate the scan rprocess for Sharp Eye from the PC
keyboard instead of the scanner, if that's possible, you'll have better
luck.

Actually, I am not sure what happened because a friend started the
scanner.
However, I was following directions for blind users at the time. We may
have gotten into the trouble at that point though. I have been used to
k1000 controlling the scanner. Anyway, one thing I am going to have to
do
tomorrow is (Nick, take note) to read the scanner's manual. Nick is
always
urging people on the Kurzweil list to read the manual, and rightly so.
