Evelyn,
Are you by chance launching the scan process by pressing one of the buttons
on the scanner itself? I have 5 buttons on my scanner and each is configured
to launch a particular program.

Kurzweil was already on the machine when I installed a trial version of
Goodfeel with a 30-day license from Dancing Dots. The installation and
license authorization went fine. The trouble started when we attempted to
scan in some music.
