Is this laptop dedicated for audio? Or is it an off the shelf system, say
an HP, Acer, Lenovo, Dell etc. When you say it shuts off, I'm assuming you
mean the interface, not the laptop right? How do you know it shuts off, does
it emit a pop or some sort of noise? Also, do you hear pops or crackles when
playing back a soft synth or a project?
Sorry for all the questions, but they are necessary pieces of information to
have before any troubleshooting is done or suggestions given.

Regards, D!J!X!

Subject: [ddots-l] issues with Vstudio20 and sonar 8.5

hello,
I have a slight problem. Whenever I use my laptop with sonar and the
VStudio20, after a while when i am playing, the thing will shut off. when i
try disconnecting it from my pc and re connecting it, i don't get the noise
from windows conferming that I have plugged it in. The only way i can get it
back is to restart the computer. here are my specs:
windows7 home premeuim 64bit, 6gb of RAM, and a 2.3GHz processor. So, can
anyone help me with this quickly?
thanks,
