[ddots-l] instrument reset

Hello, I have a question.  Every time I close the project I am working on and 
then later come back to work some more I open the project to find that my 
instruments that I recorded using midi have changed.  I'm using a yamaha many 
mo.  Can someone please help me?  I have know idea.  Thanks
