Comes from the term used for the program acid, which would make loops and
stretch audio like that, so it's called acidizing when you take an audio file
and make so that it can be chopped up in to pieces and thus playable at
different rates. You can take an acidized loop, speed up the project, slow it
down, and it'll change speeds right with the project; the loop can also be
transposed, or shifted up and down by semitones or whatever...

Import the file, select the track, then use edit>groov clip looping.
This should acidize it to the project as close as it can; if not you'll have to
use sound forge to acidize the file. Note, if it's an entire song you are
doing, make sure you remove as much empty space at the end and the beginning as
you can, so that it won't interfear with the acidizing...
