[ddots-l] Re: giving up on bfd, need new drum software

I played with the original dfh and it was a pain for me to figure out the
keyboard mapping, plus a friend of mine used it on some of his demo tracks
and a song he did for an intro to my internet radio show and I just don't
lkike the sound of the kit. I appreciate the offer, just really need to find
something that is a bit more flexible, unless there is something I am
missing.

If you're interested, I have DFH as well as DR008, I've never used them for
anything...

Drum programming, is a complete and utter 'anathema' to me, in a word I
Quote HATE quote it!!!

Wanna barter?

OK, folks.

I am giving up on BFD 2 as an option, after spending hundreds of dollars to
find it is just going to take too much sighted help to get this to be
functional at all.

I need to find a soft synth that does the best realistic drums I can find
and is accessible. I want to be able to process each drum in a kit on its
own track in sonar. I want to be able to load different kits depending on
the my project, some for metal work, some for regular rock, and some for
pop. I need a wide variety of drum sounds. Electronic kits are a plus, but
not mandatory and would probably be limited to 80s sounding kits like
simmons, oberheim kits and the like. Does anybody have suggestions? I am
tired of ripping my hair out to get drum sounds. And it is not always
feasible to hire a drummer, so let's not go there.
