  hey greg!
that tune track we're talking about here, is the company which makes EZ
drummer which I used on your believin' is seein' CD.
I had some good presets which my good friend did help me with and I really
miss it, heh heh.

I haven't heard of tune tracks sounds pretty interesting. I'm assuming
they're accessible? Maybe not to expensive? I don't want much do I?

      Hi

That's the beauty of the Toontracks products, all their kits come with a
huge library of midi files that have been played by a pro drummer.

You get hundreds of variations and fills to play with, each library
design for the kit you have loaded.

I use midi files to give me a starting point and then edit to produce my
own feel.

      Cheers

I use loops as often as I can. Those guys just play lots better than
I ever could. I use drums on demand a lot. They record the toms really well. I
would be interested in any other good loop makers that people know about.

            OK, folks.

I am giving up on BFD 2 as an option, after spending hundreds of
dollars to find it is just going to take too much sighted help to get this to
be functional at all.

I need to find a soft synth that does the best realistic drums I
can find and is accessible. I want to be able to process each drum in a kit on
its own track in sonar. I want to be able to load different kits depending on
the my project, some for metal work, some for regular rock, and some for pop. I
need a wide variety of drum sounds. Electronic kits are a plus, but not
mandatory and would probably be limited to 80s sounding kits like simmons,
oberheim kits and the like. Does anybody have suggestions? I am tired of
ripping my hair out to get drum sounds. And it is not always feasible to hire a
drummer, so let's not go there.
