No, no, don't export as an OMF file. You are making the assumption that the
ProTools user has the Digi Translator. If they do, then you can export to OMF
otherwise don't bother.
You can export all tracks to Waves at once which will name the tracks and they
should be able to import directly into ProTools. If you have an extremely lazy
ProTools to insure full compatibility, export as aiff files. I had a ProTools
user that could not import waves for some reason.

Hey Stefan!
In order to export Sonar project files so they can be read by Pro Tools, you
need to export/save them as .OMF files.
Unfortunately, this setting is one of the file type option check boxes, when
you first install Sonar.
I don't know if its at all possible to re-instate this option after
installing, but I'm sure someone else on the list should know, failing that,
I'd contact either Cakewalk or Dancing Dots...
Or, as a last resort, reinstall Sonar
Laters

Hi, does anyone have an idea how to export sonar projects so that pro tools
users can open it with out any problems? In Germany, you have the problem, that
cubase and pro tools are more common than Sonar.
Thanks for your answers.
Stefan
