There are several ways you can do that. YOu could copy the portions of the
audio that you want to flange to another track and insert the flanger there, or
you could insert the flange and assign one of the track inspector widgets to
the wet/dry mix control. Then you would place automation snapshots where you
want to turn the flange on and off.
