[ddots-l] Re: editing tracks

Hi.

Try this.

1. On the track you wish to delete go to the from time you wish to start at
and press f9.

2. go to the End time for the deletion point and press F10.

3. Press F7 to get yourself back to the from time then press control Enter.

4. Press control X to cut the information out of the track.

A dialog will appear, but if you want all info deleted from that section, just
press enter.

this is my own way of deleting sections of tracks.

Cheers
Darren

    Jim,

You have two of the steps reversed. You should first select the time you
want deleted, then press the control enter function, then press delete.

      Hi Omar,

Firstly I have the track unarmed and input echo is off.
Next I select the track with ctrl & enter.
I then hit shft + f9 for the select by time dialogue.
I enter my from and through times in the relevant fields.
I hit enter once I have entered the through time.
I then hit mid section delete.

          Hi List,

I'm trying to edit a few bits of extranious stuff fromt he beginning
and end
of my drum track. No matter what I do, I can't seem to delete the
selected
          portions of the track.
I've read the relevant section of the CakeTalking manual, but it
still
          doesn't work.
I'm using Soanr 6 PE with the relevant CT release.
