roughly speaking,
insert an event,
go to or edit the time of the event,
make the type of event controler,
I think pedal control is #64,
and the value of that controler is 0 to turn the pedal off.
The on value is 127.
So, again, it's controler number 64, value 127 on,
and controler number 64, 0 to turn off.

Subject: [ddots-l] editing a sustain controler
Hi,
How can I edit the amount of a sustain controler when recording midi? I
know it can't be done in the event view. So if I want the controler to
stop at a certain beat within a measure, how would I do that?
Thanks.
