the lame encoder can be downloaded free from a number of sites
i went on to google did a search for lame encoder and found quite a few sites where you can download it from 
if you have trouble finding it i could send you the zip file off-list
i think i will need a hand to get the encoder working propperly but i'm fortunate to have techy friends who will give me a hand finally i've always saved my audio as wav which is good if you want to put your masterpiece on could and changed the format if i need to using something like smart audio converter this is an easy utility to use and is also free

Two things you can do.
Go to
http://www.cakewalk.com
and search for the info, or you can go into the shared utilities

folder

under cakewalk, and look for a file called ExtEncoderCfg.chm.

This will

take you step by step through the process.
