Yes! I think its because you've got the same soundcard running for
jaws/windows sounds and sonar. If you have two sound cards, use the lesser
of the two for jaws, I.E. the default soundcard, and everything should be
fine. Otherwise you could try looking at whether your sound card has more
than one way of outputting audio. For example, I can use MME-ederul (ederul
being the make of soundcard) for jaws, and I use the Ederul setting for
sonar. I assume you don't have an external speach divice for jaws.
Finally, you could experiment with the settings in the audio page, of sonar,
in the options menue I think it is. There are advanced and driver tabs, and
perhaps if you turn of the gitter option in sonar through that menue it
might work better.
No doubt, none of these will work, but I thought I'd email anyway, as not
getting a response would be annoying, I imagine.
