[ddots-l] Re: drivers

Hi Kevin!!

Hmmm, good question.  I always use the "apply trimming command" followed by the 
"bounce to clips"
command.

Once I have done that with all of  the tracks that I am working on then, I save 
and close the
project and do the "clean audio disk" thing on the project to get rid of any 
unwanted audio data.

I personally like to use the "bounce to clips" thing on each track because I 
know that if I do that
then, all of the various wave files on each track have been compacted into one 
wave file for each
track.

I am guessing however, I suspect having one wave file for each track may cause 
projects to run more
smoothly and load quicker as you aren't having to load up lots of clips for 
each track.

I therefore never need to use the "compact audio" command.  I don't know if 
that answers your
question.
