No, JAWS doesn't tell you it's archived.  You know it's archived because
you can't hear the mute status next to the solo and armed status.  If
the mute doesn't exist, it's an archived track.

archived, or do you just have to make an note in the name field of the

Importance: Normal

Select ALT T for track and then select A for archiving.  The selected
track or tracks will then be archied, which means they will not play and
will not consume RAM resources. Kevin
