[ddots-l] Re: application key

The Application-key isn't at all the same as the Windows-key.  You can often 
use use "shft-f10".

Holding down Control and pressing Escape will do the same as the Windows
Key.

The application key is what I thought it was... the Windows key.  I have
a somewhat older ergonomic keyboard that is great for my hands (I have
tendinitis), however, it was made before the use of the Windows key.  Is
there a workaround this problem or do I need to buy a new ergonomic
keyboard with an active Windows key?  Thanks.
