Hi Kevin, I guess the point I was trying to make is that there are alternative keystrokes for non-Windows keyboards. And I'm sure Ross also want to keep his older keyboard. Right, Ross? For example, to minimize all windows (you would use Windows Key + M), press Ctrl + Esc, and then Alt + m. And this still works in XP. I have to say that I've not researched old versus new in a while, but it's entirely possible that a significant number of the pre-windows keyboard commands still work. If I can find an old Window Bridge manual, I know there was a list in that. They relate to elements of the inspector such as grabbing the remote control command, I think. I'm not sure that the control escape is the only thing we use the Windows and applications keys for. =20 Kevin -----Original Message----- From: ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of George Bell Sent: Monday, December 27, 2004 5:00 PM To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [ddots-l] Re: application key Holding down Control and pressing Escape will do the same as the Windows Key. I have a somewhat older ergonomic keyboard that is great for my hands (I have tendinitis), however, it was made before the use of the Windows key. Is there a workaround this problem or do I need to buy a new ergonomic keyboard with an active Windows key? Thanks.
