I'm using jaws9 with AVG8 and as I say I've had no problems.  I'm using the
paid version of AVG8 and not the free one. I'm not sure whether that would
make a difference. Not sure why it would, but just a thought.

Which version of Jaws are you using?

I'm using Jaws 8 and and it crashes when I'm using the interface.

Still using AVG 7.5 here on account of that.

I have been using AVG8 since it came out, and I have never experienced
problems with jaws crashing. AVG8 is a great piece of software and is highly
recommended by me.

I hear AVG 8 sometimes causes jaws to crash. Have you experienced this with

Yes.  Norton is way too heavy on system resources.  Go with AVG instead.

I've heard that Norton Antivirus is especially not recommended on daw
systems. Is there a reason for this, or is it because of norton conflicting
with jaws?
