[ddots-l] Re: Yes I amun-arming not use tracks

Thank you it was my mixer that was blending the song with the vocal, all I Had
to do is to turn off that button and I had my separation with no more bleed
over.

Also, make sure you are only recording from the one source. If for
instance you have "what you hear" turned on in your mixer, the other tracks
will be recorded on your new audio track, as it will be picking up all sound
coming through your card, instead of just the line in or microphone inputs.
Sorry if this seems obvious, but sometimes it is the basic things that are
the most easily overlooked

    Hello:

Are you setting the record mode to overwrite instead of sound on sound?

    "

Are you arming and unarming each track as you use it?"

Yes, I am doing that, the only tract that is armed is the one I am
recording on. what is happening is the un-armed track is bleeding into the
armed track
I am trying to record on so when I play it back I hear the first track that
is not armed and the track I just got through recording on.

I feel it must be a setting I am not doing to make sure each audio track
doesn't become a part of new armed and recorded tracks.
