[ddots-l] Using sample CDs

Hi!
Does anyone know how do I use sample CDs with SONAR? Do I need a
virtual sampler (are there any accessible one+) or can I "play" samples
somehow in Sonar? I mean, can I - for example - make own melodies etc? I
know how to import loops to Sonar, but for example how to use strings or
flutes etc? I have some Eastwest Prosamples libraries and I'm just
wondering how to use them. Any help is welcome!
