[ddots-l] Re: Unusual Audio Problem with Lime v.8

Hi, Ana Maria,

Run Lime 8.47 on your desktop.

Open a Lime file you've completed.

Press ALT+H, and then the letter O.

You will see a list of output drivers that should trigger notes on your
soundcard.  Try each of them in turn by highlighting the driver and pressing
ENTER.  Now try pressing the arrow keys to determine if you can hear the
notes.  Try each driver in the list if there is more than one.

If you try them all and still hear no sound, check your Windows Volume
Control settings to be sure that the volume is at or near the maximum for
your "SW Synthe".  Of course, be sure that the SW Synthe is not muted.
Other perhaps obvious things to check: be sure the speakers are connected
and working; can you hear sound if you connect headphones directly to the
soundcard?
